Rules for Boating

Summer’s the time for enjoying local lakes or rivers, so be sure to check out the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department informative web page from their Marine Enforcement division before you get wet.  The page includes links to the boating safety ordinance, information about boating accidents, and a list of Spokane County Lakes.  If you would like some guidance when kayaking, sailing, or whitewater rafting, attend one of the Spokane City Parks Department’s outdoor activities classes. - Spokane Government Librarian
