Red Light Photo Enforcement

Saturday, November 1, 2008 – 9:47 am

The warning citation phase for red light runners who are caught by the City’s Photo Red program ended on October 31st, which means that violators will now be fined $124. The Police Department has a good explanation page on how the cameras work, why we have them, and what to do if you get a citation. There is even a special website to check if you receive a citation - www.ViolationInfo.com - where you can view a video of your car running the red light. - Spokane Government Librarian

  2. I’ve lived in many different places during my military days. Some places are famous for speeders or illegal parking, it’s safe to say that on my return to Spokane I was amazed about the constant red light running. I’ve lived in cities with these lights before and thought they really helped safety and traffic flow.
