Property Tax Time

Wednesday, October 22, 2008 – 3:36 pm

The second installment of many homeowners’ property taxes are due October 31st. The County Assessor’s Office can answer many of your questions about property taxes, including your tax rates and amounts. The Parcel Information Search gives you the assessed value of your home, your property taxes, and recent sales data. You can look up any address in Spokane County. Type in the street number and name (no direction) and choose the correct address from the results. This is also a good place to discover when your home was built and basic house characteristics. - Spokane Government Librarian

  2. For those who have worked hard to be mortgage-free, it is important to remember to pay the property tax on time. I hope someday to pay my home’s mortgage until then my lender collects my property tax monthly.
