When is it Safe to Return to Play after a Concussion?

Governor Gregoire signed the Zachery Lystedt law on May 14. Washington State now has the toughest return-to-play law in American high school sports. A high school athlete with a concussion cannot return to play without a licensed health care provider’s approval.
