Social Security or SSI economic recovery payment

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 provides for the one-time payment of $250 to individuals who get SSI or Social Security benefits.
If payments have not been received by June 4,  those who believe they are eligible should contact the SSA,

Beneficiaries may report suspicious activity to the Social Security Fraud Hotline Web site
or by calling 1-800-269-0271.
