Dinosaur National Monument

Wednesday, October 22, 2008 – 1:20 am

Dinosaur National Monument protects a large deposit of fossil dinosaur bones. This park has roads and hiking trails that offer historical sites, cool box canyons, and stunning views of dramatic river canyons.  There are interesting and pleasant campgrounds within the park.   Whitewater rafting on the Green and the Yampa Rivers are a popular way to experience the remote canyon areas at Dinosaur National Monument.
