Currently we are not able to expand hours at any other locations since our budget is set for all of 2008. The Spokane Public Library Board is committed to expanding hours at all locations. They prioritized the different options of which branch to expand. If funding were to become available we would next expand hours at the Hillyard branch which currently is only open 22.5 hours a week. It is the next most used library after Downtown, Shadle and South Hill. Also, our statistics show that many Hillyard customers do not use other branches as much as other branches' customers do.
