Spokane Journal of Business, online
Friday, November 7, 2008 – 2:51 amIf you find yourself looking for back issues of the Spokane Journal of Business, know that with a valid Spokane Public Library card you have access to a database that allows for searching, reading and printing full-text articles going back to August 15, 1991. If you already have a library card, just click here and you’ll be on your way. This same database, Proquest, covers more than 5000 other newspaper and journal titles from around the nation, including the full-text of the Spokesman Review going back to December 22, 1991. The library pays $6948 per year for access to Proquest and it is worth every cent.
If you don’t have a library card, just drop into any of our branches (bring some photo I.D.) and we’ll get you set up. The process is relatively painless as it is free and takes about two minutes… Note that the library’s databases, such as the one mentioned above, are restricted to use within the library or, for those outside the four walls of the library, to city residents or non-residents who pay for their library cards. Questions? Just drop me a line and I’d be happy to clarify.
