IMPORTANT ALERT: Possible Credit Card Scam
Attention all Spokane County Library District Patrons: A customer today informed the Library District that he received a phone call inquiring about an over-due fine and that he could pay it with a credit card either by providing the credit card information over the phone OR by logging onto www.scld.com. PLEASE NOTE that any calls you receive like this is a scam, and in no way related to Spokane County Library District or its collection of over-due fines policy. In addition, the website given by this group is not Spokane County Library District’s website, which is www.scld.org. (not dot com). If you do receive any calls asking for over-due fines payment from the Library District, please disregard and report to your local law enforcement agency.
We have not had any customers report this to us but please be aware that we will not call you regarding any fines or fees. You can check your account via our website or always call the library at 444-5333. Thank you and if you have any questions please let us know.
