In response to a customer comment

In response to a customer comment we’d like you to know that all Spokane Public Library locations are public buildings and as with all public buildings customers should expect that their presence in the library is apparent. We very much respect the privacy of the information that customers access, it is of the utmost importance to us and we strive to protect that. The building itself is public. Any filming or photography is permissible as long as it does not violate our rules of conduct.

Our rules of conduct policy is strictly enforced. If anyone is intoxicated or harassing others that is a violation of those rules and the person is asked to leave the building. If the problem persists, the person is trespassed from all library branches.

We strive to make the library experience a pleasant one for all our customers. The rules of conduct is in place to assist us with that. We appreciate customer feedback as we continue to improve our service.
