Meth? in our community?

Several DVDs have been recently added which provide personal stories and statistics about the use of methamphetamines in the United States. We all will benefit from better understanding the reality of meth addiction and the physical and emotional agony of giving it up.

The meth epidemic “Investigates the meth rampage in America: the appalling impact on individuals, families and communities, and the difficult of controlling an essential ingredient in meth - ephedrine and pseudoephedrine - sold legally in over-the-counter cold remedies.”

American Meth “A look at several facets of the methamphetamine epidemic, and the damage being done to communities across America by this drug. Includes a pair of addicts and how they cope with life, being on the drug, and their four children.”

Both DVD titles are available in Spokane Public Library and can be reserved. Books are also available on this topic.
